World of Volvo is a one-of-a-kind brand experience centre with unique Scandinavian-style architecture covering 22,000 m². It is a statement by Volvo Group and Volvo Cars as part of our movement towards a safe and sustainable world.
The 4,500 m² exhibition area takes visitors on a journey from the past to the present and into the future – with iconic vehicles, real-life stories, and extraordinary interactive experiences.
You'll also find two restaurants, a shop and an exciting programme of events and happenings.

World of Volvo opened its doors to the public on 14 April 2024. It is a special date as it is also Volvo’s birthday!

There is no entrance fee to visit World of Volvo, everyone is welcome. To visit the World of Volvo Exhibition, there is an entrance fee. Buy your ticket here.

There is free Wi-Fi accessible to all guests, "WoV Visitor".

Yes, of course but not in the exhibition area. While visiting the exhibition, there is a designated room where you can leave your stroller and there are baby carriers to borrow from the information desk.

The exhibition spans 4,500 square meters, offering an exciting blend of digital and physical interactions. It is a place where technology meets art, and where history meets the future. The estimated time to spend in the exhibition is 1,5-2 hours. Come curious and explore Volvo like never before!

The World of Volvo Exhibition focuses on Volvo's history, innovations, and future vision. In addition to the permanent exhibition, there are sometimes also special exhibitions.

There are many vehicles on display in our exhibition and the number varies. You will find vehicles such as trucks, cars, boats, and construction equipment from both Volvo Cars and Volvo Group.

We have kept all the vehicles from the former Volvo Museum and they are being stored. We switch vehicles in the exhibition regularly.

Yes, you can take photos for personal use, but it is not allowed to bring professional photography equipment into the exhibition.

Food and drinks are not allowed in the exhibition area. You can always enjoy a meal at Ceno Brasserie on floor 2 before or after you have visited the exhibition.

If you are visiting World of Volvo for a conference, there are areas to use for, e.g., break-out sessions and individual working.

There are 8 conference rooms of varying sizes, a broadcasting studio with stage and tiered seating for 26 people, and an event hall that accommodates up to 1050 standing guests or 600 seated guests. Read more about our meeting rooms here or contact us at meetings@worldofvolvo.com.

We are proud to collaborate with GöteborgsOperan and Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, partnerships that include arranging recurrent events together. World of Volvo offers a range of child-friendly activities, such as Family Fun during school holidays and visits for school classes. The World of Volvo Exhibition also includes interactive elements specifically aimed at younger visitors.

Yes, there are two restaurants located in World of Volvo. Ceno Brasserie, located on the second floor, is the main restaurant and Ceno On Top is open for groups and larger events. The restaurants are run by Götaplatsgruppen. Read more here.

Ceno Brasserie offers lunch, à la carte, weekend menu, prix fixe menu, and bar. The à la carte menu is crafted by the renowned Michelin-starred chef Stefan Karlsson, drawing inspiration from Nordic flavors. The popular lunch menu is updated weekly and always offers three different options to choose from, see here.

Ceno offers various dishes with meat, fish, and vegetarian options. For other requests or questions, please contact the restaurant directly.

You are not allowed to bring your own food to World of Volvo, but we are happy to recommend enjoying a meal or drink at Ceno Brasserie.

Transport and Parking

It is easy to find World of Volvo in central Gothenburg – our address is Lyckholms Torg 1. There are many different ways of finding your way here:
By public transportation: The nearest tram stop to World of Volvo is Liseberg Södra. For timetables and further information, please visit the Västtrafik website or app.
By car: GPS coordinates: Lat: N 57 º 41’ 24” Long: E 11º 59′ 50”
By train: From Gothenburg Central Station take tram 2 or 4 and exit at Liseberg Södra. You can find timetables on the Västtrafik website.
By air: Airport coaches run from Landvetter airport and stop at Korsvägen. From there you can walk (1 kilometer) or take tram 2 and 4 to tram stop Liseberg Södra.

Yes, below World of Volvo there is a five-story car park, “Liseberg Södra”, with about 1500 parking spaces. The facility is owned by Göteborgs Stads Parkering and 160 of the spaces offer electric chargers.
Disabled parking spaces: 7 parking spaces
Parking for bikes: There are bike stands outside World of Volvo’s entrance where you can park your bike.

There are currently no spaces specifically designated for RVs/caravans in the Liseberg Södra car park. The nearest car park for larger vehicles can be found at Parking Göteborg.

Yes, there are two lifts in the building that are suitable for people with reduced mobility.

We offer free storage lockers equipped with code locks on the entrance floor. Please note that we do not provide additional storage for luggage that exceeds the capacity of these lockers.

Yes, below World of Volvo there is a car park, “Liseberg Södra”, with 7 disabled parking spaces. There is also a lift in the car park that goes directly to World of Volvo.
