World of Volvo - School Visits

Spark students’ interest in technology with a school visit to World of Volvo! Our engaging school programme offer students the chance to explore the world of technology through hands-on problem-solving. Over the course of two hours, students will participate in creative workshops, discover various engineering professions, and explore our interactive exhibition. We work with the activity-based learning method “Design - Build - Test”, where the process itself becomes the learning experience.

Dates:
School visits are offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at two sessions per day: 10.00–12.00 or 13.00–15.00.

Groups:
We recommend groups of maximum 30 students for the best learning experience as we will divide the group into smaller groups for the workshops.

The programme is designed for secondary and upper secondary school, but can also be adapted for Year 6 students.

Pre-visit materials:
To make the visit as rewarding as possible, teachers receive classroom resources in advance, aiming to spark an interest before the visit. The pre-visit materials include a classroom activity to introduce themes such as mobility and sustainability.

Prices (incl. VAT):
Package price: 1,200 SEK + 80 SEK per student
Payment is made via invoice (SEK).

Creative workshops

The visit begins with two workshops led by our skilled guides. Here, students take on different technical roles and engineering professions to discover what it means to work with technology in practice. The workshops involve planning, designing, and building together in an educational environment.

Explore our exhibition

Following the workshops, our guides will show the group around before the students get the opportunity to explore on their own. The students will have time to experience our interactive exhibition, where they can discover more about Volvo’s innovations and history.
