Welcome to a concert set against a magnificent backdrop in the heart of the World of Volvo exhibition. The performance takes place amidst an art installation featuring moving art created with modern technology – an immersive experience!
Enjoy beloved pieces from famous Operas performed by Göteborg Opera’s court singer Katarina Karnéus, together with opera singers Luthando Qave and Julia Lindgren. The fantastic voices are accompanied by Karin Holm on the grand piano in a vibrant musical experience. Enjoy two hours of wonderful music, including a 30-minute intermission where you mingle among iconic vehicles from 1927.
The multiple award-winning Katarina Karnéus has performed on the world’s leading opera stages and concert halls. She has received two Grammys, the Royal medal Litteris et Artibus, and Svenska Dagbladet’s Opera Prize. Katarina Karnéus has been engaged by the Göteborg Opera since 2012.
