Changing Our Footprint

Explore the future of architecture and design

World of Volvo welcomes you to take part of "Changing Our Footprint" – an exhibition that explores sustainable architecture and design through the lens of Henning Larsen, a global leader in innovative design. This temporary exhibition invites you to discover how architecture, creativity, and collaboration can transform the way we design and interact with our spaces – making them more sustainable, resilient, and connected to nature.

Rethinking Architecture and Design
Architecture today is about more than buildings – it’s about shaping communities and fostering biodiversity. The work of Henning Larsen's studio transforms urban and natural spaces to create places where people love to live, work, and thrive.

The studio’s landscape design integrates natural and urban elements, enhancing biodiversity and creating immersive experiences with nature. By embedding natural systems into communities, they demonstrate how thoughtful design yields lasting social and environmental benefits. The work embraces biophilic design, water management, and rewilding to create spaces that are both beautiful and sustainable.

The exhibition was first shown at Aedes Architecture Forum in Berlin, before making its way to AIT Arkitektur Salon in Hamburg. More recently, it was re-curated for the Gallery Stairs in the Danish Architecture Center in Copenhagen.

Here at World of Volvo, the exhibition is open for all between 6 December 2024 and 23 February 2025 on the fourth floor. Discover how small, scalable steps can drive big change.
